Advocacy WA is heading to Donnybrook and Balingup this August with three free, practical workshops designed to empower people with disability, their support networks, and local providers.
These workshops are a safe space to explore your rights, learn how to self-advocate, and discover what good support should look and feel like.
Donnybrook
Balingup
9:30am – Providers & Community
Designed for NDIS providers, support workers, and community members. Learn what rights-based, person-centred support really means and how to help create safer, more inclusive services.
11:30am – Self Advocacy
This session is for anyone wanting to build confidence and learn how to speak up for themselves. You'll walk away with practical tools and real-life strategies for using your voice, your way.
12:30pm – People with Disability and Support Network
For people with disability, family, carers, and friends. We’ll talk about your rights, how to ask questions, say “no” to services that don’t feel right, and what respectful support looks like.
