Crafty Corner runs every Tuesday from 1–3pm during school term
Held at Eaton Library, Crafty Corner is a relaxed, adult only D Connect Circle group that supports D Connect’s mission to make the South West the most inclusive and accessible region possible. It is designed to be a welcoming space where people can connect, create, and feel part of their community without pressure or expectation.
You can bring your own craft project or take part in one of our simple, in house craft activities. There is plenty of inspiration available from the library’s craft books, as well as time to enjoy a cuppa, unwind, and connect at your own pace. Sessions are facilitated by trained D Connect peer mentors and Advocacy WA team members who are there to support people to take part in ways that feel right for them.
Crafting can support mental wellbeing, spark creativity, and offer a gentle form of self care. All skill levels are welcome. You do not need to be “crafty” to belong here.
You do not need to RSVP to attend and are very welcome to just come along on the day. If you are able to register, it helps us plan craft supplies, snacks, and coffee so everyone is comfortable and included.
