Advocacy WA Roadshow Online

Advocacy WA Roadshow 2026

The Advocacy WA Roadshow is coming online for 2026, offering the same practical, welcoming, and community centred learning that people enjoy at our in-person events, now in a format you can join from anywhere. Each online Roadshow includes a series of live, interactive workshops. You can take part in the full program or simply attend the sessions that matter most to you.

These sessions are created to be accessible and inclusive, offering clear information, Easy Read materials, and supportive facilitators who understand the value of lived experience.

What you can expect online

Welcome and connection
Begin with friendly faces, light activities to ease in, and an Acknowledgement of Country that grounds us in respect and community.

Self Advocacy in Action
A supportive space to build confidence, practise communication tools, and learn simple strategies that help you speak up and make decisions in everyday life.

Knowing Your Rights
Learn about your rights under the NDIS, what quality support looks like, and what steps you can take if something doesn’t feel right. This session breaks down important information into clear, practical guidance you can use immediately.

All Access Showcase — Online Edition
Explore inclusion through interactive digital activities designed to deepen understanding of accessibility in events, services, and community spaces. You’ll see how people with disability review accessibility and why inclusive design matters.

D-Connect Local online meet up
Join a relaxed community conversation about inclusion in your region. Share experiences, offer ideas, and help shape future opportunities for connection and empowerment across the South West.

Peer Mentor and Volunteer information session
Find out how you can get involved as a Peer Mentor or volunteer with Advocacy WA. Learn what the roles involve, the training you receive, and how peer support strengthens inclusive communities.

Community reflection circle
Close the day with a gentle group reflection, celebrating what you have learned and the connections formed during the sessions.

Who can attend?
Everyone is welcome. This online Roadshow is designed for people with disability, families, carers, providers, workers, and community members who want to build confidence, learn practical skills, and strengthen inclusion across the South West.

Whether you join for one session or stay for all of them, you are contributing to a community where every person feels valued, supported, and heard.
