Workshops in Bridgetown & Manjimup

Advocacy WA is coming to Bridgetown and Manjimup this August to run three empowering and practical workshops all about speaking up, understanding your rights, and creating better support experiences.

These free events are for people with disability, families, carers, support workers, and service providers. If you’ve ever felt unsure about your supports — this is the place to ask questions, share, and learn.

🛠 Workshop Schedule:

10:00am – Providers & Community
Explore how to deliver or support safe, respectful, person-led services and learn more about your role in protecting rights and dignity.

12:00pm – Self Advocacy
Build confidence to speak up for yourself. Learn how to say what you want, set boundaries, and understand your rights in everyday situations.

1:00pm – People with Disability and Support Network
Learn how to identify good support, ask questions, and feel confident saying “no” when something doesn’t feel right — all in a safe, welcoming environment.
